French Montana conducted an interview with Power 106’s Big Boy’s Neighborhood show to talk about his career, his relationships, and new projects that he’s working on. French said that the worst part about being a celebrity is that you can’t always make things work on a personal level. Montana noted that he couldn’t see his kids when he wanted to—and it that it was part of being famous.
The bad thing about it? Just going through my divorce,” French Montana said. “Things like that. Going through things like why I can’t see my son when I want to. Things like that. That’s the bad thing. Cause when you make it to a certain level it’s like everything ain’t gon’ be everything you want. You gotta go through the bullshit.”
Montana also went on to talk about his relationship with Kim Kardashian, whom he states Puffy hooked him up with. French says that he didn’t want to be part of the Kardashian reality show at first, but that Kim’s tendency to hold him down changed things.
“So, at first—Like I have no choice to be like ‘No, I don’t want to be on that.’ I mean, I do. It’s part of her thing, which I respect it. She always come through for me. Like when I had a show, this and that show. She’ll travel. Go to Africa. MTV Awards. This and that. So, we look out for each other.”
Montana’s new album, Mac & Cheese 4, was originally supposed to be a series of mixtapes. Montana changed it into an album in order to give his fans the new heat that they were waiting for. Mac & Cheese 4 is scheduled to drop this November and is rumored to have appearances by stars such as Miguel, Rick Ross, and Puff Daddy.
