Sometimes even a normal night can just get out of control. That seems to be what happened to Suge Knight in West Hollywood this past weekend. Knight was shot 6 times at the 10AK nightclub, and the incident has gotten a lot of national buzz. Even the mayor of West Hollywood, John D’Amico, has chimed in on the situation.
“This was just a regular night of fun on the Sunset Strip, and it was disrupted by criminals,” D’Amico said to the Los Angeles Times. “Hopefully the Sheriff’s Department will find out who the person or persons were and prosecute them to the full extent of the law.”
An eye witness also released their account of the shooting: “It was 1:30,” the witness said. “I was about to leave, and all of a sudden I heard gunshots. I saw a bunch of people running out. I ran out with them. We were standing outside. Everything was fine at that time. They had it figured out. The cops had their guns drawn towards the doors, and it was a crime scene from then on.”
Suge Knight went through surgery and is expected to make a full recovery. Being shot is never easy, and we hope that Suge can get through this one and back to his regular lifestyle.
