Leonardo DiCaprio is A Tribe Called Quest fan—who knew? Or maybe you knew already. Either way, TMZ caught wind of DiCaprio rapping along to a Busta Rhymes verse from the “Scenario,” A Tribe song. He was spotted at 10ak, a now closed California nightclub, for a party held for promoter Richie Akiva.
Reportedly, at the time, Q-Tip, DiCaprio, and Jonah Hill were in talks to create a new television show, exploring the friendships and cultural influence of rap acts such as the aforementioned ATCQ, De La Soul, and Queen Latifah. The series were to be produced by DiCaprio’s company, Appain Way. However, the project’s development never saw the light of day.
DiCaprio is a known rap fan, and he got Kanye West and 2 Chainz to perform at his birthday party back in 2013.
