By now, you’ve probably heard about 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather’s beef. I’m not sure if we even remember how it started. But for whatever reason, things are picking up lately. 50 Cent challenged Floyd Mayweather by calling him illiterate, saying that he could not read a page out of a Harry Potter book or even one from the Cat In The Hat. Angie Martinez commented on the situation in an interview with VladTV:
“I think 50 and Floyd are made from the same cloth,” Martinez says in an interview with VladTV. “They come to entertain you and they do. When 50 is at war or battling somebody, he is the best at it. It is always entertaining. I think somebody like Floyd is built for it. He’s gonna respond. It’s gonna be great. It’s gonna be funny. As long as it’s just that, then that’s fine.”
But to take things up a notch, Martinez’s Power 105.1 New York radio stati9on released audio of Floyd attempting to read a drop. Perhaps the New York station is backing 50, because the audio was anything but good for Mayweather. If he isn’t illiterate, he sure as hell sounded like it—and the Twitter world picked it up and ran with it.
We’re sure that Floyd is going to respond, but we’re not sure how you can come out on top here. It will be interesting to see where Floyd can go this time, but maybe he can get some advice on beefs with 50 from Rick Ross. Unlike Ja Rule, Ross didn’t just come out alive, but he thrived after beefing with 50. Things could get fiery.
