Just because you’re a part of the same crew doesn’t necessarily mean it’s one big kumbaya. During a sit-down with VladTV, Juice Crew affiliate Big Daddy Kane talked about his relationship with Boogie Down Productions head honcho KRS-One during The Bridge Wars.
“Me and KRS were actually cool,” BDK said.
When asked why his name wasn’t mentioned during the infamous beef, the Hip Hop legend attributed it to his good relationship with KRS-One and his not-so-good relationship with fellow Juice Crew member MC Shan.
“MC Shan didn’t necessarily care for me at the time,” Big Daddy Kane says.
Kane also recalled KRS-One and the late Ms. Melody helping him move out of his mother’s apartment.
